About the Event

Learn to take compelling macro photographs, with flora and fauna throughout the Garden. Students need to know a little more about their cameras (how to adjust your settings, use of aperture and shutter). Get up close and personal from the tiniest of insects to water droplets on a petal. We will discuss essential equipment, basic techniques and controlling depth-of-field and what makes a macro photograph better. A DSLR camera is needed with a macro lens (your own or rented) or extension tubes for one of your other lenses, diopter or even a telephoto lens. A tripod or monopod and external flash are recommended for macro photograph. Register at https://www.elarsonphoto.com/form/pjcbg-class-june-4-june-11-2019-macro-photography
