About the Event
Learn to take compelling macro photographs, with flora and fauna throughout the Garden. Students need to know a little more about their cameras (how to adjust your settings, use of aperture and shutter). We will get up close and personal in the Garden from the tiniest of insects to water droplets on a petal. We will discuss essential equipment, basic techniques and controlling depth-of-field and what makes a macro photograph better. A DSLR camera is needed with a macro lens (your own or rented) or extension tubes for one of your other lenses, diopter or even a telephoto lens. A tripod or monopod and external flash are recommended for macro photograph.
The cost for this two-part class is $129. Register at https://www.elarsonphoto.com/form/pj-ciener-botanical-garden-class-august-10-17-2021-macro-photography-intermediate-dslr
