About the Event
Pumpkins are good for more than carving or pie. A hollowed out pumpkin makes a great container for your fall plants. Join PJCBG staff for a hands on workshop and create your very own pumpkin container, a perfect addition to your fall porch decorations. Learn how to select plants for containers, what makes an attractive fall container, and what you can do with your pumpkin container at the end of the season. Each participant will clean their pumpkin, choose their plants (from a selection of ferns, grasses, heuchera, succUlents, and ornamental kales), and plant their pumpkin container. All materials will be provided, BYOB and snacks welcome.
Cost is $40 / $37 PJCBG members. Limited to 10 participants, registration open until October 13 or all spots filled.
