“Visitors from Heaven” A One-Man Show by Raymond Reid

Join us at the Garden on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm for "Visitors from Heaven", a One-Man Show by Raymond Reid, National Award Winning Artist, Newspaper Columnist and Author.

About the Event

The show will consist of original paintings and drawings of Reid’s inspirational and dramatic depictions of cardinals. Reid’s original watercolor, “Come Fly With Me,” featuring a cardinal in flight at the Garden, will be drawn for raffle at 5:00 pm that day. Reid donated the painting to the Garden as a fund-raiser. We are offering a limited number of raffle tickets at $25 each and they can be purchased below or at the event. All proceeds will go to the Garden.

Raymond Reid’s cardinal paintings have spoken to the hearts of people all over the world. His legacy portraits of deceased loved ones, featuring cardinals, have been commissioned by families all over the U.S., as well as Canada. His prints and paintings are represented in corporate and private collections stateside, as well as in Australia, Russia, Canada and Great Britain. He is past president of the Wilkes Art Guild and the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem. The exhibition at Ciener Garden will be Reid’s 19th one-man show. Reid, and his wife Teresa, live in Kernersville.

  • Photography is always welcome but should not interfere with the enjoyment of other guests.  Professional photographers, please contact the office to coordinate your visit.

  • Artists are always welcome.  Please contact our office to coordinate your visit.  

  • Please follow any requests made by our Garden staff.
